Thanks to our Presenting and Official Sponsors, Patrons and Partners, delegates and awesome presenters, the 2013 Garden Tourism Conference was a resounding success.

Underscoring the theme Gardens & Tourism – a Match for Success each session twinned a garden experience with its tourism counterpart in an exploration of how they work together to mutual benefit.

An optional Garden Tourism Readiness Workshop facilitated by Brain Trust Marketing Inc. was also offered and less than a week later, one participant reported that the information and strategies gleaned from the Workshop resulted in a 22% increase in funds to a local Business Improvement Association.

Invaluable networking opportunities aside, the benchmark of a Conference worth attending is the quality of the information, ideas and energy that one walks away with. And this year’s event delivered all of the above, in spades!

With delegates from across Canada and the USA as well as Australia, Japan, France, Italy, Portugal, the UK and Austria, this Conference is a not-to-be missed event in the biennial calendar, as, according to keynote speaker Richard Benfield, “Garden Tourism is on the rise and will be so for the next 15 to 20 years!”

The next North American Garden Tourism Conference will take place in 2015.
